Sea Buckthorn Extract in Sweet Almond Oil
The edible sea buckthorn herbal oil is made from Hippophae rhamnoides berries infused in organic sweet almond oil.
During the extraction process, the berries remain in contact with the oil, allowing their fat-soluble plant constituents to be transferred into it. Once the process is complete, the plant material is carefully removed by filtration.
It stands out for its subtly fruity flavour, distinctive herbal aroma and mild character, allowing it to blend easily into cold culinary preparations without overpowering the other flavours.
The natural fatty acid profile of the sweet almond oil used as the base of this product is characterised by a high content of unsaturated fats.
Replacing saturated fats with unsaturated fats in the diet contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels.
Sea buckthorn, botanically known as Hippophae rhamnoides, supports the body’s natural defences and the immune system. It also helps maintain healthy skin from within.
This distinctive culinary herbal oil is ideal for cold use in salads, yoghurt, smoothies, dips, cold sauces, vegetables and other preparations where a mild, fruity herbal character is desired. It may also be added to soups or cooked dishes after cooking.
Serving suggestion: 1 tablespoon daily in salads, yoghurt, smoothies, dips or other cold preparations.
Ingredients: Sweet ALMOND oil 83.3%, sea buckthorn berries (Hippophae rhamnoides) 16.7%.

After opening, keep tightly closed in a cool, dark place, away from light and heat.
