The edible bay laurel herbal oil is made from Laurus nobilis leaves infused in edible sweet almond oil.
During the extraction process, the leaves remain in contact with the oil, allowing their fat-soluble aromatic and plant constituents to be transferred into it. Once the process is complete, the bay leaves are carefully removed by filtration.
Bay laurel is one of the most characteristic aromatic plants of Mediterranean cuisine. This herbal oil stands out for its warm herbal aroma, subtle balsamic notes and mildly spicy character, adding depth to culinary preparations without overpowering the other flavours.
Bay laurel, botanically known as Laurus nobilis, supports the body’s normal response to inflammatory processes.
Based on available European references concerning the botanical ingredient Laurus nobilis, bay laurel is associated with the physiological support of the skin, hair and nails.
This distinctive culinary herbal oil is ideal as a finishing oil for salads, pulses, potatoes, vegetables, cold sauces, marinades and savoury dishes. It may also be added to soups, stews or roasted dishes after cooking to preserve its aromatic character.
Serving suggestion: 1 tablespoon daily in salads, pulses, vegetables or cold sauces, or as a finishing oil for cooked dishes.
Ingredients: Sweet ALMOND oil 83.3%, bay laurel leaves 16.7%.
*The percentages refer to the quantities used at the beginning of the extraction process. Once the process is complete, the plant material is removed by filtration.
After opening, keep tightly closed in a cool, dark place, away from light and heat.
