PEA PROTEIN SMOOTHIE
High- Protein smoothie, filling and highly nutritious!
If you avoid wheat and similar grains, you probably miss having bread a lot, especially when you have a tempting egg yolk in front of you and don’t know how to scoop it up from the plate. You can put an end to this dilemma with this super easy bread made entirely with almond flour (gluten-free), no wheat flour at all.
The only thing to be mindful of is the portion size. Since it’s made with almond flour, it’s best not to eat more than one or two slices at a time, as it may feel a bit heavy.
Ingredients:
3 cups almond flour
1/2 cup olive oil or coconut oil
1/4 cup almond milk or water
3 eggs
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
Optional: nuts for topping
Preparation Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 150°C (300°F).
Grease a rectangular loaf pan.
Mix all the ingredients together until well combined.
Optionally, sprinkle nuts on top.
Pour the batter into the pan and spread evenly.
Bake in the oven for 60 minutes.
Let the bread cool, then invert the pan and slice with a bread knife.
